A struggling (more realistically, failed) writer living in Last Light, North Dakota. I made this site as a sort of digital journal, a place to scream into the void about whatever is going on in my life.

Slightly taller than average, a little wider than average. She wears her wavy black hair a bit messily, generally washed but not terribly well-maintained. Has a general affinity for loose fitting jeans and long-sleeve blouses, often various lighter, low saturation shades of blue.

With her thick rimmed glasses and ratty beanies (which came by their rattiness honestly over the years), Dani had once been described as a white-trash hipster, though the people using those terms didn't seem to understand either of them.

My oldest friend in Last Light. I met kyr when I moved here in 2023. Kye operates a small mechanical repair shop in an abandoned factory downtown. Kye has very low patience for... really anything. We call kyr Yunie.

Scraggly, raggedy and scrawny, Yunie has the general vibe of a serial drug-user, even though kye's likely the soberest among kyr circles. Lightly toned arms, and a face that seems to don new bruises and scrapes every time you see kyr, Yunie's life outside of my point of view is a true enigma. Kye's favored aesthetic is a good, clean black button up with ratty, tattered black jeans. Kye wears Doc Martens Combs Tech boots, all of the time. The exact brand and style is worth mentioning here since Yunie takes extreme pride in kyr boots.

Kye has straight red hair, just above shoulder-length, always good and messy (kye just woke up like that). Other very recognizable features include a spiky black collar kye wears most of the time, and two classi wind-up watches, one on each wrist.

Real head-in-the-clouds artsy type. A couple of years older than me, likes to act like she's a lot more mature and responsibility than the rest of us, but her affinity for bad decision making gives Yunie a run for kyr money.

Azura is a more varied dresser than the rest of her group, wearing a wide array of skirts and sleeveless shirts, as well as a fondness for long jackets. She does tend to stick within the range of blues and purples, but does like to dabble with other colors from time-to-time. She has long black hair combed entirely to the left side, with an undercut. She could be described as a "girl nextdoor" type, pretty, but in a way that doesn't really stand out in a crowd. At least, aesthetically. Her aloof demeanor and general lack of neurotypical social skills tends to be the thing that really sets her apart.
